Bulls Looking To Maintain Reputation With Recent Recruiting:

The Buffalo Bulls have had a historic year so far and fans are labeling them as the best Bulls team ever. The Bulls set a school and MAC record with being nationally ranked for 18th week straight. As the program continues to flourish, they look to continue this reputation through recruiting.

Last years class featured two of best recruits to ever commit to the Bulls:

3-star recruit Ronaldo Segu

4-star recruit Jeenathan Williams

With 100,000+ followers on social media, Ronaldo Segu is the most popular recruit to ever sign with the Bulls. The freshman guard is much more than just hype though. Segu is a great defender, has great ball handling skills, a good shot and the ability to facilitate the floor. At 6'0 165 lbs, Segu is a small player, but he has the scrappy and hardworking play style that Nate Oats loves. Segu hasn't seen a ton of action this year, but he has seen some solid minutes because of his ability to play defense. Look for Segu to get an increase in minutes next year as he familiarizes himself with the coaching staff and the system.

Unlike Segu, Jeenathan Williams wasn't hyped up a lot coming out of high school, but he should have been. Williams is extremely athletic and was throwing down crazy dunks in Rochester, which grabbed the Bulls attention. Williams has seen some decent minutes due to his athleticism. As of right now, Williams is the Bulls' only 4-star recruit, but that may not last long.

The Bulls currently have three JUCO players that signed letters of intent:

The 19th ranked JUCO player in the country: 6'9 forward Andre Allen

The 25th ranked JUCO player in the country: 6'5 guard Durey Cadwell

The 26th ranked JUCO player in the country: 6'7 forward James Rojas

These JUCO players will have the chance the make an instant impact just like Jeremy Harris, Dontay Caruthers and Montell McRae who are a big reason why UB has been ranked for 18 straight weeks. But the Bulls are also attracting the attention of players with similar recruiting ratings to Williams and Segu.

The Bulls currently have two players who have shown interest in them:

3-star guard Noah Hutchins - Park School of Buffalo

3-star center Raymond Hawkins - Findlay Prep

Noah Hutchins is an athletic guard with great passing ability who could really help the Bulls as the program continues to progress. Hutchins is also from Buffalo, so he knows the hype that the Bulls have created within the city. If Hutchins were to commit, he'd be the 5th best recruit in Bulls history.

Despite being from the West Coast, Buffalo has interested big man, Raymond Hawkins. The 6'9 center could make a huge impact on the program if he commits to the Bulls. Hawkins recently had an official visit with the Bulls as he watched their final home game of the year. With Perkins and McRae graduating, Hawkins could see consistent minutes early in his career if he commits to the Bulls. If Hawkins were to commit, he'd be the 2nd best recruit in Bulls history, only behind Jeenathan Williams.

But, there's one more player we should tell you about:

3-star recruit Noah Williams - O'Dea

UB also recently hosted Noah Williams to their final home game of the year. Williams liked UB so much that he couldn't leave without committing. Williams 247Sports profile says that he is a forward, but also says that he is a guard. Whether he's a forward or a guard, you will be seeing Williams in a Bulls uniform soon and his athleticism should allow him to play either position.

Noah Williams Highlights:

To say the least, the future is bright for the Bulls as they continue to recruit some of the best players in program history.
